So the most frustrating part of my shop is the ineffective means by which I store my sandpaper. I've got to take a different approach but would love to gather some ideas/pics from the collective wisdom of the forum. Any ideas out there worth sharing? |

I have a 2 drawer file cabinet that fits underneath one of my benches. 1 drawer for sandpaper with a separator for each grit; pieces smaller than a full sheet are in a labeled manila folder. The other drawer holds clean rags. |

I'm not building nearly as many instruments as some of these guys, so I don't handle nearly as much sand paper. For my needs, I've found that a 3" binder works really well. I punch all my sheets with a three hole punch, and the binder works coarse to fine, front to back. This doesn't solve the problems of what to do with small sanding-block-size pieces. But it's a great way of handling the full sheets. Phil |

Filippo, I am shocked, on the bottom row you went right to left, and on the two upper rows you go left to right ???? ![]() ![]() L. |

Wow you guys are incredibly organized. I just throw mine in a box leaving it in the original packaging. |
